We provide emergency shelter for those facing immediate housing crises and 2nd stage housing for those transitioning to stability. Additionally, we focus on community engagement and outreach to connect with residents offering family services and resource coordination to help navigate available support systems. Our goal is to empower community members and foster a, inclusive environment for all.

Emergency Shelter

Welcome to our emergency shelter, where we provide a safe and supportive environment for women and children fleeing gender-based violence. Our facility includes 21 beds, featuring 2 family pods, a common kitchen, and a living area for comfort and community. With a 30-day stay and the possibility of extensions, we offer essential services and trauma-informed care to help residents rebuild their lives and find hope for a brighter future. Our dedicated staff is available 24/7 to ensure a nurturing atmosphere for all.
Outreach

Outreach services provide comprehensive support to our ladies in house as well as the community through a dedicated team. Our Community Engagement Coordinator ensures effective systems navigation, while our Outreach Workers offer in-house supports. Additionally, our Indigenous Coordinator provides culturally relevant assistance to clients. We are committed to raising awareness of services through our Community Outreach Workers and educational programs on important topics such as gender-based violence and Red Flag Firearms Laws, alongside our Path to Justice Coordinator, who helps individuals navigate the justice system.
Family Support

Welcome to our Family Support Team! We are dedicated enhancing family well-being and facilitating healing for those staying in emergency shelter and second stage housing. Our team connects you to valuable family resources, parenting education, and essential support services. We offer childminding for appointments, respite, court appearances, and enrichment activities to help you focus on what matters most.
2nd Stage Housing

Supportive housing program, designed specifically for women with children transitioning from emergency shelters. Our five self-contained apartments provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can reside for to 18 months. During this time, you'll have access to essential supports that will assist you in reintegrating into the community. We’re committed to your journey, offering continued assistance for up two years after your stay to help you thrive and build a brighter future.
Housing Coordination

Welcome to our housing support program, dedicated to helping individuals and families find safe and affordable housing. We connect you with landlords, rental agencies, and private rentals to simplify your search. Our support lasts for up to two years, ensuring you have the assistance you need every step of the way. Additionally, we offer help with applications for funding related to gender-based violence.
Resource Coordination & Volunteering

Join us in making a difference by helping those in need as they rebuild their lives. We coordinate incoming donations and ensure they reach individuals setting up their homes after facing challenges. Giving back through volunteering is an option as well. Whether you want to volunteer at fundraising events, assist with Safe Ride driving, or bartend at community functions, your support is invaluable. Together, we can create a stronger community!
